Has the docs put you on bed rest?
Do the docs know why you miscarry?

I'm 27 and pregnant for the first time, I stay home because I like it. My Husband takes care of the bills, I'm looking forward to raising my baby.
I knit and sew and cross stich, but when my fingers cramp up, what I really get a lot of fun out of is Online-video game called Final Fanstasy XI. There are hundreds of people on a server and it is great to hang out with the friends i've made there. There are many online games for your PC some are free and some have a small fee. Rose-online is a free game. I hope this helps =D

I also had a miscarriage and then 4 months later I got pregnant w/ my little girl. I am now a mother of two . With both my pregnancies , I 've been on bed rest and my son was born @36 weeks and spent some time in the NICU and now he is a big healthy active boy. Youcan't help but worry thats why you sorround yourself with people that are positive .What I did to keep myself busy While I was waiting for baby is Got some hobbies such as: sewing , Knitting ,created a scrapebook and I read books . Good Luck ! When are you due?

Nayn,
Is there a Michael's Craft store near you? Check their website:
www.michaels.com
Not only do they have a great supply of craft needs, but they also hold classes, some free.

Any fabric shop should have what you are looking for too.

I love crossstitch!
But my latest passion is crochet.
I have tried knitting, and I know many people find it easy, (have you ever seen a proficient knitter? They never even look down! They can knit in the dark watching t.v.!) but I never got the hang of it beyond scarf making. I'm too impatient, and my final results never looked too terribly good, lol.

Personally I like crochet. At first, I found working with yarn a bit difficult, because the yarn threads kept separating on me. But then I picked up thread crochet. I started out with a basic 'filet' piece, a small bookmark. It looked horrible! lol, but after a short time with practice, I became rather good. Then I picked up yarn crochet with no difficulty. I found crochet easier to do then knitting. Now I make things very quickly and give them as gifts. Friends and relatives are delighted with my bookmarks and handtowels with crochet tops, thinking I worked long and hard on them, when in reality, it only takes me an hour, lol! (Keep my secret.)

If you start learning crochet working an hour or two everyday, I bet in less then 2 months, you will have made a nice baby's blanket.

Any place that sells yarn, should also display free little pieces of 'brochures' that the yarn companies send off with their yarn shipments which have instructions for different projects. There are a ton of crochet and knitting patterns for all sorts of baby things, blankies, booties, hats and sweaters. They will state the experience level needed to complete the item. You will find most of them fall under the category of 'easy'.

Good luck!
You are wise in knowing that feeling productive by creating something will help ease your boredom.

Enjoy your rest!!! Once the baby arrives you'll be looking back on all the time you had to relax with fond memories!

Once you're well enough to go out why not try some: swimming to relax, visit places, walk, get fresh air, pamper yourself, enjoy being able to surf the 'net, watch tv, sleep or make something.

I wish I could turn the clock back sometimes! Sigh.....babies are fun, but hard work!
