Hunniebee, You have to find someone to talk to and help you with this. I am a mom and have a daughter who is 10. While I would be disappointed if this mistake happened to her, I would be DEVASTATED if she didn't tell me about it and allow me into her life to help her. I know you are afraid of what your dad's reaction will be, but I really think you should tell him. No matter what our children do, we love them forever - and your parent(s) are the same. Family is also much more dependable than boyfriends and/or husbands. Please tell your family. I promise you will feel relieved and begin really dealing with what is happening. I also feel that you should not be dating someone that much older than you at this point in your life. That is probably not what you want to hear - and I remember how powerful those feelings of love are at your age. Please please talk to your family - it is never too late. ↑ |
