Oliver wants his blankie..all the time..its so cute ( its just a cloth nappie - i bought a bunch to use as "spew rags" ) he cuddles right up to it..but what is SO annoying he pulls it over his face....i have to sit there and watch him..and pull it back down every-time..

Which in most cases makes him wake up and get pissed off..so the only solution ive come up with is letting him hold my finger/hand until he is in his deep sleep..then swapping it with the blankie .. i just dont know why he continues to cover up his face!

I do it when i sleep..i pull all my blankets up to me..but i cant just let him do it while he is a baby..i dont want him choking or anything else like that...

I wonder if he is going to get attached to the blanket?

sounds like he has made it his security object. I can't do that with Kaitlen yet because she has to still be wrapped, she will not sleep with her hands out because she keeps rubbing her eyes and hitting her face and waking herself up

I try to wrap him..he hates it so much..his tosses and turns until he is out of it anyway..so its useless..

But its SO cute watching him cuddle up to that blankie...my pillow was my security object until i was like 13! i dont mind if he gets addicted :) there are worse things i could be complaining about..he is such a good kid

alyssa did that too! actually she still does lol. i gave up on it really. i couldn't stay awake all night to watch her and uncover her. as long as he can turn his head by himself while asleep the doc said she would be fine

Awwww........it's normal man! Don't take the kid's blankie away from him! He'll be damaged for life!

My toddles has a blankie. He calls it "emmie" and takes it everywhere. I can't get the damn thing washed half the time - if he sees it in the washer he screams and cries and stands there until the cycle is complete. He then screams somemore whilst it's in the dryer!!!!!!

Life with a blankie is hard, but they need these things!

(cute photo) ;-D *LOL*

My daughter has 2 Pooh Blankies. I sometimes go in her room to find her with both of them over her head... She is 4 1/2 so it is alot different from a baby. Maybe you could cut "airholes" in it.. HA HA HA

Oh then there is Bun Bun. My son's nasty germ infested little rabbit he cannot sleep without... Try washing that... He hates the thing when it's clean...

omg.....Anika does that all the time too with her blankie. Sometimes I go into her room in the morning and she's wrapped the blanket around her head competely. but usually it's just up around her face, and I just gently pull it down and she stays asleep. It's a pain in the ass though when it's wrapped around her head, cause there's no way to unravel it unless you sit her up!! LOL.....oh well.....take i look at this photo.....I don't know what I'm going to do when summer gets here fully. her blankie is fleecy. She's going to bake herself to death. I've even tried washing it a few times to see if maybe she won't like it as much, but that didn't work.
