My kids and I used to go camping every summer for about a week. If your kids are old enough, they can go exploring on their own and have fun in the sun, water, and sand. Camping is definitely a cheap alternative. Try Washington or even Oregon. Rent a trailer or R.V, put a DVD on for this kids, and try it out! ↑ |
My kids fight all the time also! we planned a road trip which was a full 2 days drive , before hand we installed a dvd player and an inverter so we could hook the playstaion up 2 it! It was fantastic! They didnt fight once which is an absolute miracle, as the haven't stopped fighting since we got home! ↑ |
One of the easiest ways we have found to save money traveling is to take both small and regular sized disposable cups. The small dixie cups will tuck easily into a backpack. Even if you are somewhere that does not allow you to bring in drinks you can still buy one large drink and share it with the small cups. If you consider that at an average theme park the drinks are at least $2.00 each with a family of five we can save $8.00 for each round of coca cola and the kids dont have to use the restroom as much. Plus, we dont feel guilty for wasting because our little ones will not drink much anyway. The small dixie cups will also fit easily into a fannypack. ↑ |
