Okay so my aunt is having a bbq with all the family and she wnts me to bring the baby. I personally would love to go, but then I start to think..there are going to be tons of kids there from the ages of 8 months and up.and kids have alot of germs. It may sound funny but im wierd like that. Second, I dont want everyone and their mother passing around the baby..germs! Third..I just had a baby. I had an episiotomy that hurts .im still bleeding..I dont want anything to go wrong wiht my health then me not be able to take care of her. So I need help..am I crazy for thinking all this? Oh and she lives an hour and a half away! ↓

its not going to work! your still getting over your birth! your family cant expect you to jump right up after all that hard work and drive an hour and a half! you need to rest! i would say dont go. if ur family is mad, then they are kinda selfish. your baby can get sick very easily, at this age, and its just a lil early to be going anywhere where there is a crowd, in my opinion. i would say dont go! especially with that whole bird flu thing goin around! just tell them you cant make it, because your still recovering , and so is your baby. if this doesnt work just tell them the doctor said stay home and rest for 2 weeks[normal resting time after birth] in case something goes wrong with you or your baby. i mean cmon you really want to stop every 30 minutes and feel / change your baby? i would say just stay home and rest and enjoy your baby. its only this young once, and it goes by FASTER THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE! good luck! ↑
