My husband and I will be travelling from Australia to Europe with our 10 month old. I am concerned about how my baby will adjust with the time difference. Also, I am concerned about when to feed my baby. We are leaving Australia at 4.00pm and arriving in Denmark at 7.00am (we have a 3 hour stop over in Singapore). Does anyone have any suggestions in relation to sleep, feeding and travelling tips. Her current schedule is (7.00am wake (breast feed) / 8.00am solids / 11.00am breast feed) / 12.00pm (solids)/ 3.00pm (bottle feed - I am starting to wean her) / 6.00 pm (breast feed) / 6.30pm solids / 7.00pm bed). Looking forward to hearing back from someone with some help. Thanks

Maybe if you try adjusting the schedule a bit at a time? How long will you be in Europe?

hello i travelled to america via japan with my baby and found that you just let the baby take the lead when it comes to sleeping and feeding and dont worry about it too much they will sort themselves out....and you!!!! Feed your baby as soon as you are seated and the plane has left the runway (if you are holding) otherwise as soon as its safe to remove them from the bassinet. this will calm the baby. do the same when you are landing as it will help with their ears. sleep comes easy to babies in planes. mine needed abit of attention when it came to wake times but if you and your husband can ask for a front seat (where the wall is in front of you) then you can make a little barracade for her to play and stand up. Its a tiring trip but sharing with you husband the play time and the stop in Singapore will be great to stretch the legs (keep your baby awake during the stopover so she will sleep quicker when you return to the plane. good luck have a great trip
