I posted on the stay at home form as well. I need tips to get motivated with housework and I bet you working moms are pressed for time so you have great ideas to do so. I have been in a real rut lately ( staying at home all day tends to do this) what are ways you make house work fun.

I put music on and sing along... I feel like it goes by way faster and I'm more motivated

I bought my two year old a toy vacuum and we do it together.
Housework can help burn calories so that's an extra motivation.
I somethimes reward myself to keep motivated i.e a nice long soak or a dvd from the video shop.

I mainly just keep things put up as best I can. Even having the dishes done makes you feel better.I probably only thoroughly clean once a month(dusting, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing bathroom top to bottom). But daily I just have all dishes done by nighttime and tidy things up a bit so it doesn't get real bad.

Make myself pick up after the kids have gone to bed. Feels good to wake up with a clean house. Starts all over everyday but I figure kids won't be there forever so I don't mind the constant pick up.

I don't bother doing it. I wait until my husband is home from work, give him a nice meal then persuade him to help me do a quick clean up!
If I try cleaning during the day my toddler won't leave me alone and interfers too much. He sits on top of the vacuum and if I mop the kitchen floor, he rolls around in it and gets wet!
If I tidy his toys away, he immediately empties them out again.
