I'm home with my 2.5 year old Monday. Tuesday I work from home. I leave Monday night for my "home" work, Tuesday for class. W-F we both work, I drop off and pick up the kids (I have a 12.5 year old), come home, make supper,...we're doing good if he's home before the kids get to bed. I try to get some more work done. He works Saturday and Sunday is cleaning laundry day...life is all about paying the bills.
The work I've started at home is helping and I'm hoping it will help him work 5 days a week or less...
On top of all that? We had to move because of our partying neighbours leering at my 12.5 year old daughter and we couldn't find anything to buy so we're renting a 2 bedroom main floor of a house. It's not bad size wise but we have had to get rid of tons of stuff and we still have stuff everywhere. It's like having another job.
We were doing date nights with friends - swapping kids once a month so we each got a date night once a month. But they like it only during the school year and so it's already mid-Oct and we haven't started yet. I need date night once a month 12 months a year! ↑ |

Hi Cinner29!
I can totally relate! I am a mother to two boys (ages 20 mos. and 6 weeks). My husband teaches highschool (not a huge paycheck) and so I work in the evenings at a tax/bookkeeping office 6 nights a week. We see eachother just a couple hours a day, but we get Sundays together which is nice. It is tough, but I just remind my self that at least my boys are never in daycare and that it won't always be like this. I am exploring other options though. It is nice to know your not alone isn't it? Feel free to email me at [email protected]. ↑ |
