It's tough trying to eat healthy when you're surrounded by fast-food chains and quick eats. Since the day I found out I am pregnant (I took three pregnancy tests, two days apart each, four days after my missed period - I had to be sure!), I stopped drinking coffee (cold-turkey; how I miss my ole' cup o' joe!) and started eating more fruits and more vegetables. But I will only eat them fresh, which warrants frequent trips to the supermarket.
...Last night, though, I had a cheese steak sub...it was sooooooo good, I couldn't help myself. Of course, this morning, morning sickness hits like a freight train and, well, you know. I was throwing my guts up. By this time, my cheese steak had digest, so I was just spitting up...nasty stomach acid and whatnot.
That was a terrible feeling. I don't usually vomit (just get a lot of nausea)...but I almost decided not to go to work....of course, I went. I feel fine now. :)
I'm so excited to be pregnant, but at the same time, I am really worried and nervous. This is my fourth pregnancy, only because I had three miscarriages prior in 2008, 2009 and 2013.
My first prenatal appointment is in a week.
It seems like time has now slowed to a crawl since I found out I'm expecting...May isn't getting here fast enough!
