Glucose and other updates

I took my one hour glucose test last friday, it wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be.  I imagined the drink to be like really thick and white and pasty like the drink I had to drink when I had to get some images taken of my esophagus and stomach.  Thank goodness it wasn't like that at all, but it wasn't all that great either.  It tasted like a flat tangerine jarrito drink, which is not my favorite flavor at all.  Anywho time went by fast and I was outta there...

In other news, I've moved all my stuff back into my parents house and Jun will be following me soon.  Jun cleaned out my parents garage and we almost have our stuff situated.  I just want to know the sex of the baby so we can begin to get the baby stuff ready.  I also started school this semester at MJC, and I'll start working full time in February which makes me feel very anxious.

Our next appt is Feb 7th, so hopefully we'll find out the sex of the baby, otherwise I give up! =) I'll also find out the results of my glucose test....and thats about it.

Take care everyone

No Luck

We went to our appointment this last friday and we learned the baby and I have gained a pound.  However we were not able to find the sex of the baby.  Cord was in the way again, and the dr said the baby was in the worst position to try to even guess.  She said if she guess she would be about 50% right. haha. The baby was very active the 20 minutes we spent trying to find some hint what the sex was.

This friday I plan to go to the lab and do my one hour glucose test. I'm "looking forward" to having to drink that thick drink.  For those who know me well, know I have very strong gag reflexes.  I'm not too confident about doing the test.

Well that's all the news I have for now, I'll have some more pictures uploaded in a little while.  Jun and I had pictures taken last week.

Till next time everyone!

Happy New Year

I think it's about time to write in my journal again.  Well I've been having some weird dreams, but I've also had some dreams about the baby.  Actually I've had a quite few dreams about the baby.   The first time I dreamt of the baby, I don't remember what it was about but I woke up knowing it was going to be a girl.  I had this weird gut feeling when I woke up.  The second time I had a dream about the baby I dreamt of it's little feet.  I was putting socks on them and I could see the baby stretching out it's little toes, it was so cute, the only weird thing was I couldn't tell what the sex of the baby was.  I woke up confused, becuase I guess I dreamt in black and white and I couldn't tell not even what color the socks were or anything to give me some kind of a clue.  The baby wouldn't even let me check the diaper.  I know it sounds weird.

I still don't know the sex of the baby, maybe this friday I'll find out at my next appointment.  My gut instinct is that it will be a boy, but last time we went to the doctor, Dr Palitz couldn't tell because there was cord in the way, but then I had another dream recently that we went to our appointment and the sonogram revealed it was a girl, and I was confused because I thought it was a boy.  I don't know I think I'm going to be so impatient if I don't find out the sex this apptMy sister Rosa also had a dream about the baby, but I can't remember what it was, but she dreamt of the baby the same night I dreamt we went to the appt and saw the sex on the sonogram.  I told my mom that morning when I woke up and she told me Rosa also called her and told her she dreamt of the baby..so I don't know.

I hope I find out this friday! I can't wait any longer!!!! So I'll be back on friday to let you all know the sex HOPEFULLY!

After Christmas

Christmas was fun, as always.  This year I had to work Christmas eve but that's ok because I was off at 1 pm and I didn't work Christmas day.  We spent Christmas eve at my brother's house, everyone was supposed to be there between 5 and 6, but no one was there until 7 (story of my family's life).   Before dinner, Jun and I went on a walk around the neighborhood and that helped me a lot, because I was getting a big headache listening to all the high pitched voices of the girls lol.  And I got some fresh air.   When we came back we ate dinner and the food was very good.  I had no sense of time that night so I think we opened the gifts around 10 30, usually our family waits until midnight or at least 11 o'clock, but it's ok we opened them early because I was dead tired and we were able to get home earlier.  The baby had it's first unofficial Christmas, Naomi and her little brother gifted wipies and diapers to my baby, and my mom gifted some pj's and onesies, we also recieved gift cards that will help us out a lot in buying more things for the baby once we know the sex.

We came back to Union City on Christmas day to spend the day with Jun's family, but they went to Hollister and it was raining too much for us to drive that far, besides they got home at 4 am and so I'm glad I didn't go because I don't think I could have handled coming home that late.  Jun's sister Mae gave me a gift card to motherhood which I really need because my pants are starting to fit me too snug, I can't wait to buy new pants.

Well that's about all the excitement we had for Christmas, I'm glad I was able to spend so much time with Jun we had fun relaxing.

I have my next dr's appt on Jan 6th, so lets see what Los Reyes Magos brings us that day =)
