have you notice the patch is better for the highs and lows. and also is it more expensive. Ive heard it is.I really want to know more about this patch. ↑ |
My daughter is starting the patch tomorrow, my only problem with the ritalin ( Concerta) is the eating. She lost five pounds this last month. Im hoping the patch will help ease up on that . I"m not sure yet on cost. I am getting a trial 40 patch freebie to see it we like it. ↑ |
I'll have to ask about the free sample. a patch would be nice. I wonder if it would bother them at night and sleeping ↑ |
Well, you're supposed to put in on in the am, pref before they wake up . It shouldn't stay on more than 9 hours, Its possible to have a rash or skin irritation , so you need to switch hips daily. And its a lower dose and it doesn't work by the metabolism which i like. I'm just hoping her skin isn't allergic to it and it doesn't make her appetite get any worse. ↑ |
taybry...what do you mean by lower dose. does it take a lower dose to be effective or do you go higher? my son does well on ritalin 25 ml. a twice a day but is on the 20lm patch. will that cover? he is on his first try today. ↑ |
We have been using the patch for my grandson hes 10...i think it works pretty well...we put it on at 615 in the morning while hes asleep and take it off around 230 he eats dinner at 5 and goes to sleep around 10 gets up aroud 715.. ↑ |
I tried doing just homopathic for a couple weeks, but it got to hard for her to concentrate and stay put i.e. crawling under the desk, needing to stand all the time. So we contined with the patch. We are only doing one 10 mg patch we were told to go to 20mg after a few days, but 10 seems to be enough for mine.. Appetite is down , but not as much as it was with the concerta. I've also notice the ups and downs are not as bad, just gets really really quiet for about an hour after school. Sleep hasn't been a problem, I normally have a white noise in her room to help her sleep. anymore questions, just email [email protected] ↑ |
