The only thing that helped my son was getting him on medication. I did everything I could to avoid it; he went to psychologists for ADHD, did behavior modification, etc. The medication just helps him stop and think first. After medication, reward systems seem to help him stay on track and control himself. Also, when my son has a fit, my very presence in the room will keep his tantrum going. I have to leave out of sight until he calms down. ↑ |
I HAVE A 4YR OLD WITH ADHD, AND I COMPLETLY UNDERSTAND THAT HE IS DRIVING U CRAZY. THERE ARE SO MANY DAYS THAT I WANT TO GIVE UP ON HIM AND RUN AWAY. ON THE OTHER HAND THAT IS MY SON AND I LOVE HIM. YOU NEED TO FIND TIME AWAY FOR YOURSELF. ↑ |
