My son was on strattera and his stomach did not tolerate it well. He felt much better as far as his impulsiveness, depression and anxiety. Now the doctor is trying Adderol, this is the second day and he feels weird and a little sick to his stomach. What I would like to know from anyone is do these symptoms go away with time? By the way I have had my son to doctors since he was 3 and everyone made me feel like I was the crazy on, we have all suffer enourmously over the years. Now the last doctor finally diagnosed, I told her she is my angel. If anyone need help feel free to ask.

you know, many symptoms don't go away. my son also has adhd and i just switched him to concerta. he was taking adderall and started losing weight, has tics, and goes through mood swings. he has been on straterra for 3 days now and i have to say he seems to be doing fine. but then again he was also doing fine with adderall when i started him on it. he is now 8 and has been on meds now for a1 year and a half. but i have been researching alot and came across omega 3. i am totally gonna try it before summer vacation. i will take him off the meds and see how that works for him. it is really hard dealing with a child who has adhd. my other two children are fine and i am very greatful for that. good luck to you and look into omega 3. studies have shown that it really helps kids.
