my son was diagonosied 4 months ago.symptoms seem to worse since put on adderalxr .focusing better but realy bad mood swings. dont sleep well which makes him even more crabby any suggestions.local state department taking there sweet old time still havent seen my son Its been a month since i took him there .have no answeres just need help. ways to cope .help for my son ↓

| You have not seen your son, that is not helping him, turst me I know. He needs to knoe that your there for him. There are alot of different mes make them try something else. I have been going thru this for abut 10 years my sone was diganosed at age 4 and is now almost 15. I would love to help you I know how you feel. | they put my step son on adderal, it made him ten times worse.the only thing we did was change his medication to focalin. and things got somewhat better. try that and see if it helps. ↑ |

| they need 2 try him on something else ,my son reacted like that 2 1,his dr changed it+hes been ok on this 1 ever since,all i can sujest 2 them messing you around is phone them everyday explaining you need 2 see the dr+why,twice a day if you have to,theyll soon get sick of it+see you 2 shut you up. ↑ |

| Try talking to your dr about giving him something at night to help him sleep. My son takes concerta in the morning and clonidine at night to help him sleep. Also as far as the mood swings, I heard this was normal with adderal, my cousin's son is on this med. Just try to stay close with your son. Talk to him. Maybe it's not a mood swing, maybe he's feeling blue about something. I notice this with my son. He'll act like he's in a bad mood. Then I'll sit down and talk to him and I'll realize something was bothering him. Good Luck! ↑ |

| try talking to another doctor, cause no child should suffer in any way neither should a mother, ways to cope having friends and familys help and support helps alot. hope you get the help you desirve ↑ |
