i have a 4 years son has a speach problems but he is very helthy boy smart he love playing wit kids he starts reading and splling but no eye contact all time pls advice ↓

hi im a siblin with autism and i have speach problems cause im dysllexic and my autistic sister is dysllexic to so he might have that.My sister has very poor eye contact but i dont know for sure it might just be something eles but it just might be that. ↑

Hi Sofi,

I have a 2.5 year old son who sounds very similar to yours. He is very smart, healthy, has a great imagination, and loves to laugh and play. However, he fights making eye contact most of the time, is not interested in potty training, won't answer questions, and cries at strange times, like when we say it is time to eat. At the advice of his doctor, we are taking him for testing to see if he is autistic. There are a lot of helpful websites which probably could give you a good idea about whether you need more help for him. If you look up the DSM - IV criteria for diagnosing autism online, it may give you a better idea. That is the guide that the mental health profession uses in the U. S. Hope this helps. God bless! ↑
