I have inverted nipples and was wondering if any other mom out there has them and was or is successfully breastfeeding. If so is there something to use that will pull the nipple out? Thanks.

I do have one inverted nipple and I breastfed my last son and I tell ya that was his favorite breast...he fed off the inverted one better than the regular one. You will do just fine.

My son had problems latching on in the beginning and they had me use these nipples shields at the hospital (Medela). I used them for almost 6 weeks when I was finally able to get him to latch on good without them. I think they make some specially for inverted nipples. The nurses also told me about these soft gel things (also Medela, I think) and said that lots of women just swear by them, but I never tryed them. Good luck!
