I doze off all the time....even in the middle of the day from just pure exaustion. That's one of the reasons why I chose to bf, b/c it makes me sit and relax at certain points during the day. Not really anything that you can do to keep from it except to not be tired in the middle of the night or day OR get more sleep but I'm sure that's impossible...at least for me it is. Good Luck.

my baby is 9 months old now and i nurse her now only 3 times a day...but in the beginning when they nurse ALL the time the only time i slept was when she nursed at night. i have 3 other children and i know about exhaustion! don't worry he should be fine!

Yes, it can be dangerous. The bigger the breast is the more risk there is of suffocating the baby.
You should seek some advice from the La Leche League. They may be able to offer some advice to you as to safe positions etc.

this is a myth. if you have bigger breast you will not suffacte you baby! trust me my son is 14 months old and still breastfeeding strong, i'm a large double D. the only problem i had was finding nursing bras that fit being that big.

my daughter is 5 weeks old and i did that alot so i made myself walk to the living room and turn on the tv so i won't fall asleep. it is very dangerous to fall asleep.

I think the only worry is that you could smother your baby if you roll on them, but if your sitting up then enjoy your sleep. I actually sleep with my little bundle in bed all the time.
