Im a single father who just got back into my son's life , My ex wife and i sepertaed after my son turned 3 i was 4 years trying to get back into his life trying to call send chirstmas giftes ect so on and so forth, I only have the one child and he's my world how ever he's so disrespect ful i dont know what to do half the time, I praise him when he's good and trys to point out that i dont like it when he's using potty launage or cursing I was raised in a old fasion home where it was spare the rod spoil the child, and there are times where he would look at me and tell me to f off, I asked him where did he pick up this laung and he says i heard you say it, When he was a toddler and started to repeat what was being said i made sure there was no swearing around him i have no idea what his mother is doing inside her home, and i know there is no way i well ever know the truth of it. right now i got him in time out but i am at witts end here. i have to do every thing in my power not to spank him on his bum when he gets like this it drives me mental hearing my 8 year old son being so disrespctful what can i do ↓
