At my daughter's wedding, my ex-wife gave her new husband's name as the father of my daughter and it was announced in front of everyone despite my side of the family being there. No one did anything to correct it and my daughter says that "Of course, you are my dad and it was a mistake but won't send a note to all guests to reiterate that". I feel badly insulted as if I am an absent father or her new husband is so good that my daughter considers him to be her dad. I haven't talked to her since the wedding a year ago. Am I being horrible or who is in the wrong? Any comments please? ↓

It could have been on purpose or it could have been a mistake, but do you think it is worth losing contact with your daughter over? If you think it makes you feel like an absent father, then make the choice to prove anyone who thinks that wrong by not letting this continue to get in the way. Sounds like the balls in your court, that's my opinion at least.
