| Hi... I was 19 when I had my first baby. I was very anxious and nevous about it since not all of my family members were supportive. My boyfriend at the time (husband now) was the most supportive and that's what pulled me through. I knew that in my heart I really wanted the baby but my head was telling me that I was too young, etc. Now I'm 23 and 7 weeks pregnant with my second. I'm still married to my husband and even though we've had our ups and downs, having my son has been the most wonderful thing that has happened to me. Now that I'm pregnant the second time around, I'm still (shockingly) faced with unsupportive family members again. But I know that what matters most is that I want to do this, I've done a great job with raising my first so there is no reason why I shouldn't have another one if that is what I choose to do. I don't know if your family gives you any trouble or not but if they do because you're young then just remember to not let it get to you. Nothing should ruin the most wonderful feeling of having a baby. ↑ |
