so i went to the doctor this morning. Brooke is looking good. the doc had trouble finding the heartbeat so she had to use the u/s to find it. she is laying sideways which is why the doc was having problems. the only problem is, i am measuring 25 (you know when they measure your uterus size or whatever) which means 5 weeks ahead, she didnt seem too concerned and said that i must be having a big baby. the only reason i am skeptical of this is because last week at my u/s the tech said brooke was measuring perfectly and that she fit my dates exactly. i also have now gained 17 pounds according to my doctors scale. i feel like a fat ass. ↓

my last appointment was a month ago and they dont start measuring you until you are 20 weeks, so technically there is nothing to compare it too. (i had a u/s last week but it wasnt at my doctors office it was just at an u/s place) i am really concerned but she didnt seem to be...but now i am all stressed out! ↑

she didnt change my due date, which is another reason i am stressed because i thought if you were measuring more than a couple weeks ahead they would change your due date. i should have asked more questions! all she really said was oh no big deal you are just going to have a big baby! this was my last appointment with her as i moved and will now have a doctor is the woodlands. my next doctors appt is march 6th which is more like a get to know the doctor appointment than the monthly check up, so i will express my concerns then....i guess all i can do is wait ↑
