I'm 38 weeks and just got my cervix checked for the first time and i'm 3 cm and I've lost my mucus plug. i'm anxious to go into labor now that i am dilated so i have had sex 3 times within 24 hours and even went for a walk and all i get is the painful annoying menstrual like cramps that arnt the real thing. How long could it be before i go into real labor? ↓

It's impossible to say. I know people who have walked around 4cm dilated for over 2 weeks before going into full blown labor. ↑

I tried everything you are trying with my first pregnancy. My son still decided to come right on his due date. I remember my water breaking at the hospital while I was getting out of the car because they wanted me to go in and get checked. I had on my favorite pregnancy pants on and I made my husband turn around and go home so I could wash them. That is how crazy I became in the end :) Lucky for me labor didn't start until like 12 hours later. ↑
