Ok so me and my boyfriend haven't exactly been "careful". I noticed my clothes feeling a little bit tight lately, I was expecting my period any day now. We decided to just go get a HPT to put my mind at ease, sure enough it turned out positive. Although we didn't plan for this I'm finding myself getting very excited. My last period was very light, so now I'm thinking I may be farther along than I thought. But because I haven't really missed my period yet I guess I'm still in denial. I just don't want to get my hopes up and then find out the test was wrong. How accurate are those tests? The only other symptoms I'm definitely feeling is my breasts are sore, and my tummy is more bloated than usual. ↓

A bloated tummy can mean anything, PMS is usually the reason, but not usually early pregnancy. I was 16 weeks pregnant before I even got a tiny bump.
But regardless, if the HPT says you're pregnant, then you are. They are VERY accurate. You can get false negatives, but I've never heard of anyone getting a false positive, unless they're breastfeeding or something. ↑ |

| Congratulations, you are pregnant! Make an appointment to see you Dr and get a blood test if you are unsure, but the 'Light period' could have been implantation bleeding. ↑ |

I would have to say you are pregnant! but go see a dr so you can get on vitamins asap and so that you can find out how far along you are. Congrats

| Thanx everyone for your replies...I have a doctors appt. next week, and my bf is bringing me home some prenatal vitamins. I am getting more excited each day. Everything is happening so fast for me though. I have only been with my bf for three months, but it was love at first sight. Since we met we have been absolutely inseperable, we have only spent one night apart. lol. Its crazy, I have never been so in love with anyone. Before we even found out I was pregnant we rented an apartment together. We move on Dec.1, I am so excited, but feeling slightly overwhelmed at this point. He has been great about everything though, he told me that he was already planning to take care of me forever this pregnancy just confirms it. ↑ |

Well that's great that you have such a sweet man in your life, its wonderful when you find the right one, you just know! it was the same thing with my husband and we are now married and have been for 2 years, LOL I just wish it was longer..
Feel free to stay on this site, there are a lovely bunch of girls on here. They helped me get through my pregnancy which I had to do alone because my Husband was deployed at the time, and is right now too! They keep me some what sane! LOL ↑ |

| Hey I'm new to this pregnancy thing and I'm not really sure I am. I mean it has only been three weeks since I found out that it might be a possibility that I am and I actually started my period a week early and plus I'm an athlete who's on the road almost every week and I don't show symptoms.
