I haven't had the experience quite that early in preg. but from what i understand if you were experiencing a miscarrige you will have cramping. I got Preg with Twins (IVF treatment for a surrogate pregnancy ) and at 7 weeks started bleeding but immed. felt cramping--I had miscarried one of the babies but the other was fine. Your body has a mysterious way of knowing what its doing.
Probably call your dr. and he'ss likely want to check you--esp if you start experiencing painful cramping.
Thats all I can think of
Good luck and I hope it works out foryou

In my first pregnancy (twins) I had periods till I was about 17 or 18 weeks....they were daft periods...either really light or really heavy, latsing a couple of days only...but they were periods. Its uncommon but not unheard of for people to have periods when pregnant. Unfortunatley I have had a miscarriage as well, but I dont remember much of the experience, I was unconscious, but when i got home I was told just to let it happen, there was nothing I could do. If your worried, pop to your doctors.

It is possible to m/c without cramping. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and the only symptom I had was bleeding. However, it is possible to have some bleeding and not miscarry. I think I saw in another post that you are seeing your doc tomorrow? I hope everything goes well

uhm, even if you did miscarry you would still have a positive pregnancy test if you just did. you still have hcg in your system. it would be picked up. especially that earlier on in the pregnancy since most people just find out they're pregnant. was it confirmed by a blood test or ultrasound that youa re indeed pregnant? it is highly unlikely but can happen, a false positive, if you did indeed test before and got a positive. you may simply not be pregnant and just having a period. but you would still show a positive at this point

Call your doctor now! Any bleeding during pregnancy is not normal although there are other reasons besides miscarrying. I had a mc at 11 week along, had seen his heartbeating at 8 weeks and all looked perfect. 3 weeks later, I started bleeding red and then later that day there were some clots. I had no pain or cramps. I went to my doctor the following morning only for them to tell me there was no heartbeat and that he was measuring at 9 weeks 2 days.

Anything that doesn't seem right to you whether you're pregnant or not, you call your doctor, that's what they are there for.

Oops, in my own little world, skip the call your doctor now part. I missed coart's post and agree with what she is saying. If there is any baby in there, you'll get a positive test.

Unless your pregnancy was confirmed with a blood test I would say you most likely weren't pregnant to begin with as Coart said.
