Ok so my son had Spit Up issues so I went out and got some Platex VentAire Bubble Free System Bottles and he spits maybe 1 or 2 times after a bottle compared to the 3-4 he use to. I love these bottles and reccomend them to everyone ↓

Avent wasnt great for me he still spit up alot and then I switch and bam no more than the regular spit up ↑ |
I want to breast feed, but do you think I should a few bottles and some formula just incase brestfeeding doesn't work? ↑ |
Or incase you need to leave the baby. Yes I think you should have at least 2-3 on hand ↑ |
Dont worry about formula if you can produce milk cause you can always pump ↑ |
yeah thats my plan connie ↑ |
sorry one more question, how long can you store breast milk-in the freeze example. ↑ |
I was told up to 5 daysd in fridge and up to 2 weeks in freezer ↑ |
connie
When I had my daughter, the hospital gave me a kind of care package and it included a magnet that showed the proper breastmilk storage care!!! here it is:
Fresh breast Milk:
Deep Freeze (O degrees Farenheit or Less): 6+ months
Refrigerator Style Freezer (approx 0 degrees): 3-4 months
Refrigerator (32-39 F) : 8 days
Room Temp (66-72 F): 10 hours
Thawed Breast Milk:
Deep Freeze: Do not refreeze
Refrigerator Style Freezer: Do not refreeze
Refrigerator: 24 hours
Room Temp: 1 hour

Oh yeah....
Sarah M,
I use the same bottles and my daughter NEVER spits up anymore. They're awesome!! :-) ↑ |
I have had some really weird dreams lately about breast feeding, and tons of breast pain-like my glands are getting colostrum coming in. ↑ |
I am going to buy bottles and diapers and stuff today, even though the baby wont be here till March. ↑ |
I love them as well! I also buy the reasy to eat formula for when we go out and I don't want to haul expressed milk around and we use the Gerber nipples with the vents on top because they screw on perfectly to the jars of formula. But for bottles the Ventaires are by far the best. ↑ |
Randi do you have any new pictures of Kaden ( sorry of topic)
I am going shopping with a friend and she is going to show me all the stuff I need. ↑ |
I had the best luck with Avent bottles. I did breast feed and occassionally gave formula for the first 7 months then went strictly to formula feeding with Avent bottles. My daughter RARELY spit up. I would highly reccommend them. ↑ |
My son was a HUGE Spitter. Everytime I fed him he would spit up what to me seem like everything. I also switched to the Playtex VentAire which I liked but my husband and I found that we like the Dr. Brown bottles just a little bit better. We did end up switching his formula to Soy base which also helped out ALOT. This time around I am going to try the Avent Bottles not sure how they will go but thought I would give them a try. But yes the VentAires are great bottle. ↑ |
Dr. Brown bottles seemed to work best for me when my daughter was an infant. She's 11 months now and uses them still. They are the best for colic but a hassle to clean. Plus you gotta replace the inserts quite a bit but their still great. ↑ |
I found that when it comes to bottles, it's not so much about the actual bottloe but more about the nipple...my little girl doesn't like anything but the Gerber Nuk nipple. They gave it to her in the hospital and she's been hooked since. I primarily breastfeed but supplement and this is definitely the best out there..I also use the Nuk pacifier ↑ |
