| I bought a Cosco crib from Kmart, model # 43587023. Not sure if they still carry that model, mine is 5 years old. I loved it, it was very sturdy and it looks great. I'll be using it for the baby on the way too. ↑ |
| well in her baby room we have a crib that i think was actually mine when i was a baby, its beautiful. my mom wanted a crib in her room because she doesnt want to have to carry the baby up and down the stairs. so she bought a cheap one at k-mart. it is actually really beautiful! its white and very simple. and once we get the pottery barn bumpers and crib set on it you will never be able to tell it came from k-mart!!!! ↑ |
and it cost less than 100 dollars~! not including the mattress. the crib sets we purchased were much much more expensive! and it seems very sturdy, the only problem is the mattress cant be raised very high, which is convenient when they are still little.
oh and i think it converts into a toddler daybed. really nice ↑ |
| Go to burlingtoncoatfactory.com I bought the Lexington 3-in-1 Sleigh crib fpr 179 its the best thing I ever purchased i have had it for 2 yrs and its still great I am 5 weeks pregnant and I am using it for my second child with complete confidence. I would have used it for my 2 yr olds toddler bed but a toddler bed is cheaper then a whole new crib. ↑ |
| Thanks for all your input! We went out last ight and checked out cribs at Kmart and Babies r us. We went to 2 Kmarts and the same crib was put together very sloppy in one of the stores. It made us think it was not a good idea to but that one. We ended up at another Kmart, and the same crib was completey different (more sturdy). That's too bad for them! Such a decision! ↑ |
| babys r us is the same we had gone earlier on and found a wonderful changing table, we went to another babies r us to buy it and the one they had there was too shaky to put a baby on! i think the inventory must vary store to store week to week. ↑ |
