Have people forgotten that this is a forum designed for WOMEN who are PREGNANT? Not men, not people who are gay nor trying to have a baby but people who ARE pregnant.
I am so fed up with all the crap I read on here every day and by the looks of things I am not the only one. No wonder people are so mad at one another - the site is getting abused and is turning into a circus act.
When this site started (not that long ago) it was beautiful and a pleasure to come on an chat and log in your journal, now it is a disgrace.
I am making a plea to the moderators of the site to take matters into hand and sort this out before BabyCrowd.com gets and appauling reputation and the people who the site was designed for find an alternative source.... Babycrowd is not the only baby site on the net. ↓

I Think that people who are trying to have a baby are quite welcome. As you can see if you read posts properly most of them are unsure if they are and need advice. There are people on here that are various weeks pregnant and if they dont mind giving people advice it shouldnt bother you. Dont read them if you have a problem with it!
And men, just because they arent pregnant doesnt mean they arent interested in whats going on.. They dont have the joy of carrying a baby and if they want questions answered and are ACTUALLY interested good on them!
And you said it BABYCROWD is not the only baby site on the net so if you have a problem LEAVE!!! ↑ |

| I agree with you!! I havent really gotten into the fights. I have just been ignoring everything. But I think we are way off the subject. If you dont like someone I think you should just ignore them. Nobody told anyone they have to respond to all the posts. And I think if anyone is so hateful to someone and they feel like they need to start name calling and using bad language then it is time to grow up and find something better to do then get a rise out of pregnant girls. I am not saying u are in the wrong Anne-Marie. I feel like you kinda got sucked in to it. And you feel you need or want to defend yourself. No harm there. Just take care of yourself. And lets start ignoring the negative remarks and maybe they will stop. Best of luck to you!! ↑ |

| One other thing. I do think no matter who you are I think anyone is welcome to the site. Maybe they feel like us ladies being pregnant can give them some insight or advice. As long as they are not bothering anyone. I think everyone should be welcome!! ↑ |

I totally agree. I am not yet pregnant but me and my husband have been trying to conceive our baby. I think that this would be a wonderful forum if everyone would stop the name calling and stop all of the swearing.
I am looking for a place where I can chat with other women about trying to conceive. Or maybe chat with the other women on the forum that are already pregnant.
This should be a nice place to visit.
And one more thing there is a lot of lying going on in this site. ↑ |

Hi Nikki I am also trying to conceive and I know there are soo many question you need to ask.. So many things you want to know so that you can prepare yourself.. I cant stand the swearing.. We are all having kids and that shouldnt be the way we talk.
What lies? Would like to know....

I have just read the responses and I agree with some of the remarks that have been made. When I left the original post I was guilty of generalising and did not actually mean to include the aduls who are trying to concieve, that really was not my intention; I was talking about the very young teens who are talking about wanting to have a baby.
You have to admit though this is hardly the site to discuss issues like homosexuality and what to do about it; it is not a sex site it is a pregnancy site. My main objective of starting the thread was to make a stand against the ugliness prevelant here on this site.
I have never assumed to tell anyone they cannot use this site and find it outragous when peole are telling others to leave, and to not read posts; I really think it is rediculous that such a lovely intended site turns into a battle ground over innocent things as spelling errors and locations which people live. ↑ |

| I agree with Anne-Marie. I completely know where she's coming from when she's talking about "who" this site was intended for. There are alot of people that shouldn't be on here. But we're not talking about the nice people. You see it's hard for me to believe that these ugly post that have been popping up (and I know you know what I mean, the hate posts) were made by a pregnant woman. If so, that fills me with sorrow. She's not leaving because no matter how many of you post mean and nasty things about her, she has a great personality and can just laugh it off. I don't see where all the anger has come from. well i can understand the women who are trying to get pregnant, because they are coming straight to us asking us how we got pregnant, and there's nothing wrong with that.. there isnt any forum the boards here that let you do that...
to amy.. anne-marie is probably one of the most decent people you'll meet on these boards... and she is well liked here more than hated... right now you only got to wonder what she's going through.. and is probably more than ready for this baby to come... ↑ |

Seriously though thanks guys for understanding what I was meaning... I'm certainly not attempting to get on anyone's nerves by starting this thread, trying to class anyone out or make anyone feel unwelcome as that is far from my place to do that.

| Someone hit the poor taste button onme also for some reason. And they banned my ip aslo. But I have never said anything bad. But it happend after I tried to share a chat room web site. I put the website on this forum one night before I went to bed because I thought it would be cool to talk to some of you girls. And the next morning I couldnt get in anymore. I had no idea that trying to share a chat room website was of poor taste. But i had to contact babycrowd and it took about a week before I could get back in. ↑ |

| I saw the pics. And you don't look fat, you just look pregnant. And very pretty I might add. I feel fat. I'm in the stage where some people probably think I just gained weight and not pregnant.
