I found out I was pregnant on January 10th, I was unsure if I was going to keep the baby or not and have finally made my decision that I am going to go thru with the pregnancy.
I am really worried because on new years eve I took extacy and drank a lot of alcohol. I recently found out my boyfriend had cheated on me which made me decide I was going to have an abortion. I had the appointment all set up for wednesday march 1st, I was pretty sure that I was going to go thru with the abortion, so on the weekend I went and partyed with my friends, took extacy and drank alcohol. But I have realized that I will be making the biggest mistake of my life if I kill my child. It is not the babys fault that the father cheated on me, which made me decide I am going to keep this baby. I am 10 weeks pregnant and feel so guilty because of my stupid choices on the weekend. I am praying and hoping that the baby is going to be healthy and will be leaving it to the good Lord.
I just wanted to know other peoples views on this. ↓

| you cant say your going to leave it to the good Lord, you were the one who made the decision to take extacy and drink while your pregnant. so if the baby has any health problems you only have yourself to blame. im against abortions but if you were convinced you were going to go through with it, why didnt you just wait till after or were you in such desperate need of getting on the piss that you had to do it. poeple like you really piss me off i feel for that poor baby... ↑ |

Lord have mercy is all I can say. With or without pregnancy one should never do ecstasy or any other illicit drugs. I hate to fuss, but why in the world would you turn to drugs while you're pregnant?
I hope you learn a good less from this. In the meantime, I am going to pray that your little blessing develops and turns out to be 10000 percent healthy.

you made some bad decisions Rosie, and you now have to face them, and because you drank and took a highly dangerous drug, there is a chance of potential damage to your baby. Cant say for sure what damage has been done, but for your sakes you better hope wasnt any..
Secondly, if child services finds out you took drugs while pregnant, they can file petition to have your child taken away when it's born.. It only takes ONE TIME for something to happen... and you're right.. you SHOULD feel guilty.. ↑ |

How many times have you taken ecstasy while pregnant? Just wondering b/c if it was just once and small dosage of it I don't think it will hurt your little angel but if you took a lot of it I would be worried and look it up on the internet and see what you can find out about it!

| Well I !!HATE!! Abortions! Personally I think you're not ready for a baby. But! I think u would adopt it out instead of aborting the baby. It seems to me that ur life is going too fast and ur too into the partying and drugs to be taking care of some baby. So, to me...u taking extacy period is just...terrible and i think u shouldnt take it anymore while pregnant, no type of drugs ... that baby needs u to keep him/her healthy....i mean the drugs alone will kill the baby. So u shouldnt be doing that. If u keep the baby like u taking care of it, make sure your life is straight before him/her comes and u could get counseling or help for things like this. | Well just talking about extacy, do you realize that you can get some serious problems your self!! I know of several girls that are not the same anymore because of that stuff! The have severe panic attacks and are not dependent on medication to cope with normal life. Now I'm not perfect by all means and have experimented with lots of drugs myself, just to let you know, so I'm not shuning you for doing them, and I won't say anything about your decision to take it while pregnant because....well there's no point that you don't already know now. But yes there can be problems. My mother took acid when she was pregnant with my brother (she was 14 and that was 35 years ago) and he has the mentality of a 12 year old. I'm not trying to scare you, it's a different drug, but you just never know. I'll pray for you! Just like I pray all the time for my baby. I was about 13 weeks pregnant before I knew that I was, and I drank whiskey with my friends on the weekend. I pray, and hope, but there's really no way to know if there's gonna be a problem. | You know I must say that you are a very brave girl. Even though you took drugs, you owned up to it, and I know grown men and women that don't do that . Sometimes it takes some of us to learn from our mistakes twice as long as others but the thing to do is get to a baby dr ASAP, and tell them what happened and even get help or join a group to stay away from the drugs. God already knows what you did and wants you to lean on Him, so no matter what anyone says to you He will still be there for you. ↑ |

| hey i totally know b4 i found out i was pregnant i took ectasy twice n den i found out i was 12 weeks pregnant so i worked out dat i took the e's wen i was about 6 weks i was worried sick about my baby but he turned out fine. i would never take drugs again that was my onli two times trying them. der is a good chance ur baby will survive as long as u keep away from the drugs. dont want to use my name as i am really ashamed of this but in my defence i didnt know i was pregnant and all my m8s took them for yrs so i was curious. ↑ |
