I was in my office last night, and just leaned back in my chair, when the wheels of the chair shot forward and I fell back to the wooden floor onto my back. Was quite a hard fall, and I woke up this morning with bruising on my back. I haven't had any cramping or bleeding, but I rang the midwife and she said the baby should be find and it's well protected. I still feel I need more reassurance. I'm only 12 weeks so probably overreacting. Did anyone else have a fall in pregnancy and the baby was fine? ↓

you should be fine I never had a fall in my pregnancy , a freind of mine was at a walmart when she was 31 weeks pregnant she was coming around a corner didn't see another lady coming out of another isle , the other lady got real pissed off started yelling at her about watching were she was going and then proceeded to slam her cart into my freinds so hard my freind landed hard on the floor , the other lady then stomped off not only was my freind a bit sore , but an hour later she started having contractions she went to the ER and they were able to stop them , she suffered no more than a few bruises her baby was born healthy and happy at 38 1/2 weeks. ↑

I had a pretty bad fall with my last preg. sometime during the second trimester and I was just fine! A little sore, and of course my feelings were hurt, but no harm to the baby!! ↑

briseis it sounds like your baby will be fine but make sure that if you have a sore back that you look after yourself. I hope your back is okay. ↑
