Dying my hair during pregnancy ... Some outrageous sources have told me it isn't safe! Please can someone tell me different? I prefer my hair to be a darker shade of brown! ↓

| i got blonde highlights in mine when i was pregnant with my son...my dr. said it was fine...i dunno if you have to be a certain # of weeks or whatever...i dunno...but i did have mine colored. ↑ |

| it is fine the reason they say to wait until you first trimester is over is because you are more prone to allergic reactions during that time. Just do a test spot on you arm someplace that no one will see to make sur eyou don't break out and if your cool in 24hrs then it is fine to go ahead and color ↑ |

| You are not suppose to, but when I was just about 2 months I did and everything was fine. Doctors don't recommend it though. Try using something that isn't strong and doesn't have nemonia. ↑ |

| I've never been told anything different about dying my hair while preg... Its just the fumes people are worried about.. Just keep a cloth over you face if they are strong.. I've never got my hair done at the hairdressers and been able to smell the fumes though!... ↑ |

| there are organic hair dyes out there that don't have any chemicals in them that are perfectly safe during pregnancy ↑ |

| my doctor was fine with dying my hair, ive dyed it a couple times, wait til you're not in 1st trimester and even if you do use bleach or something of the sort, make sure its well vented so you can breathe and dont get a nice little chemical high from the fumes LOL you'll be fine. ↑ |

| It is perfectly fine to dye your hair during pregnancy. Test have shown that they would have to use 10 times the amount that you actually use to dye your hair to cause any harm to the baby. ↑ |

| hi i was worried about dying my hair but also worried about the little grey hairs starting to grow through. I talked to a hairdresser friend of mine and she said its fine, no evidence has ever been proved. I have died my hair in pregnancy but not as much as usual, only twice and im now 31 weeks. hope this helps a bit. ↑ |

| I avoided it while pregnant just in case. After, my hairdresser told me it's perfectly safe. However, I noticed my doctor who's pregnant has stopped dying hers (some grey is showing). I would avoid it just b/c she is. My friend says it's ok to get highlites but not a full dye, b/c it won't go into your roots then. ↑ |

| highlights or not, its still chemicals. even whole head isnt enough to hurt the baby. i think honestly its a personal decision. ↑ |
