| i had one the night before i as induced and i started having contractions about 4 hours later..but nothing really regular so i ended up being induced anyways! ↑ |
| usually most of the membrane sweeps don't work the first time...espically if it's your first child. my dr. had to sweep my membranes 3 times and on the third time when he sweeped them he had blood on his glove and i started contractions (very very small ones) within 30 minutes...but he spent me straight to the hospital. ↑ |
| i got checked n the next night i was walking and had this sharp pain id never felt that stopped me dead in my tracks n for the rest of the night i thought i was peeing myself well the next morning i coughed n bam. broken water but i guess i was leaking the night beforeee ↑ |
| I had mine swept on a friday morning. By noon I was having mild contractions the continued through the night and onto Saturday. I was 3cm dialated sat afternoon, so I went home and came back Sunday morning when the contractions were stronger. They broke my water at noon and my daughter was born just after 5pm. It defineately started things rolling for me. It just took a little while. ↑ |
| I'm 40+4-weeks now. Its been 3 days since I had the sweep, and well, looks like it didn't work. I'm praying I go into labour over the weekend ... ↑ |
