Thanks ahead for your replies...I'm off to bed now :) ↑ |
Hey Veggiemom I googled it for you and there is a site called OBGYN.NET where you can get answers from an OB Gyn on stuff like this.. anyway the response was to try a cream or ointment that breastfeeding women would use. ↑ |
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use creams... When your breast feeding they give you lanolin cream... You could try using that.. ↑ |
I didnt know the name of any of the creams off the top of my head so I just said breastfeeding creams/ointment... lol ↑ |
Yeah... Its hard to think of all this stuff hey.. lol Yeah but its called lanolin... Made from something to do with sheep :-/
There wool or something!... weird! ↑ |
i just use the palmers stuff that i put on my stomach lol ↑ |
I use something called Tummy Honey Butter...it's great, and it smells good, not like the Lansinoh ointment!! ↑ |
Thanks all! I can't use an any animal products. I will use the Palmers if it's safe :) ↑ |
uhm i will look on my bottle and get back to you on that lol dono that its gonna be anytime soon but ill check for ya. ↑ |
wait how do i check? LOL ↑ |
Mine had some tiny shreds of wax in it but I'm ok with it (I'm talking about the Palmers tummy butter) ↑ |
The tummy honey butter says no animal testing, but I don't know about the ingredients. The only ingredient that looks questionable is beeswax. There's a website listed on the tub - www.mothersintuition.com ↑ |
I just looked at the site:) They're all natural - I think you'll like their products, and they have something called nipple nurture cream! It's lanolin free. ↑ |
Thanks all!!! I know the company missmara but I don't use their products :(
I will use some of the Palmer and some of the natural hand cream my husband is using (but not on the nipples) since it's working beautifully on my belly! ↑ |
lanolin cream they give you at the hospital after birth but i used palmers cocoa butter products..worked for me ↑ |
