alot of depends on how much your baby needs. I remember it going up gradually through months, and move it up an oz if they are still hungry after eating. Sorry, it's been 3 years!

Gabby is on the boob so she eats until she is full...although she has been over eating lately and spiting it up...all over me....

Google it. There is some website that gives you a chart. I know for breastfed at least it said she should get 25oz a day, so divide the number of times she eats in a 24hr period and that's how much to feed her ( I was figuring it out for expressed milk) So I'm not sure if it's the same for formula or not. Are you still using breast milk or did you run out?

Anyways the website I found calculated it out and on the low end she should eat 2.75 ounces and on the high end it was 4 something. So I offer 4 usually and sometimes she eats less, rarely she wants more. And the Dr. yesterday said that was good.

it was me whit!

it is 2-2.5 ozs of formula per pound. askdrsears.com has a lot of info about it. but also remember that your baby is young and you should go by their cues, meaning if they want more you should give it to them as long as they aren't throwing it all up, and if they want less that is ok too as long as they are gaining weight!

like if your baby weighs 10 pounds, they should have 20-25 ozs of formula a day :)
