I'm so worried! My fiancé is treating me to a weekend in London in 2 weeks time. Flights, hotel, museums booked and paid for! But my pregnancy is completely preventing me from doing anything! Every time I go out in the car, even for a short journey, I feel nauseous, and then I'm physically sick. When I am standing for longer than 5 minutes, I get dizzy, and have to sit down! I don't want my pregnancy to ruin my weekend in London! I'm so looking forward to it! :*(

i was the same way, i just carried a plastic bag like from the grocery store (the ones the groceries go in) lol and ifi had to puke i had to puke, you're miserable but it saves from stopping. about the dizziness try and make sure you're getting enough fluids but not too much that can make you sick too, ive been through so much vomiting in the past 26 weeks its not even funny. i am vomit queen. anyways goodluck and no matter how miserable it is try to enjoy it. i spent my honey moon vomiting and crying lol .. good thing we didnt pay to go anywhere LOL :)

12 weeks ... I just thought the sickness would be over by now ... I know I'm whining, but I just want 2 days of nothing. I'd be willing to pay for it for the rest of my pregnancy!! LOL! Yeah, I worry about dehydration too ...

Coartney - I know it's dreadful! I carry a lunchbox in the car with me, and retch during red lights! Joy! It's the dizziness thing which really gets to me. I was at the vets today with my dog, and the vet just kept going on and on and on, and I got more and more dizzy, and had to sit down and have them bring me water. :(

My morning sikness started to fade at week 16. Maybe you can get a perscription(sp) from the dr just in case it will get real bad. I would if I was about to go on an amazing trip!

get some "sea-bands".....they sell them at most drug stores, and it uses pressure point therapy to help alleviate morning sickness....it worked great for me and might help you on your trip! best of luck

My morning sickness got bearable at 14 weeks with both pregnancies, so don't give up yet! It's also really important to keep your blood sugar even throughout the day, so try to snack every hour or so on healthy proteins (think cheese, nuts, yogurt) and carbs (think fruit, raisins, crackers). That really helps with the dizziness and nausea. I hope it all works out for you!!

briseis-
I understand exactly what you are talking about. I was the same way when I was pregnant with my daughter. I would feel okay and think okay well I will run to Walmart and get the things that I need. I get into the car and by the time I hit the parking lot at Walmart I was sick to my stomach. It got to the point where I didn't even try to leave the house unless I really needed to. I would send my husband do everything that required me to leave my house. If there were times when we went somewhere I would have my husband drive and pull over every now and then because I had to throw up
