Don't know. I'm 1 day overdue, and today they swept my membranes, and scheduled an induction for the 11th, when I'll be 41-weeks exactly.
If you're concerned about induction, then ask for a membrane sweep. It may not work, but it's worth a try. ↑ |
| I was induced. It was brutal. I was in labour for 27 hours and it ended in a c section. I enjoyed my c section, but if I were you I would try to go naturally. I would have wanted to had there not been a risk with my son. ↑ |

| i was induced with all 3 of my kids so i dont really have anythinh to compare it too but it didn't seem too bad to me.....heres the way i look at it, if getting induced so much worse than going natural then natural must be pretty easy. i was in labor wth number 1 for 9 hours, nmber 2 for 2 hours, and number 3 for 7 1/2 hours. i had an epi with the first but it wore off an hour or so before time to push, no meds with the second, and an epi with the third that kept me pretty comfy until just before time to push. ↑ |
