Well I had a bizarre weekend!
I lost my mucus plug last monday after swimming but didn't really think anything of it cause I lost it early with my other DD's. Started having backpains by Thursday but nothing unmanagble. By Fri. night my back was killing but we had gone strawberry picking so I was squatting alot, figured thats what it was. Sat morning I got up early to go 'garage saling' and my back still hurt so We went to the hospital just to get checked since I hadn't been to my OB for 4 weeks (appt was supposed to be today)
I was put on the monitors and I was contracting every 2-3 mins. and 2-3 cm dilated but I didn't notice. This was at about 2pm.
Started fluids to try to stop contractions and gave me a steriod shot for Avalee's lungs 'just in case' and admitted me for monitoring. By 5pm contractions were obviously not going away and I could feel them now (5-6 cms). They moved me to Labour & Delivery at 6pm. Contractions were about every minute and I had to concentrate and breathe through them by now.
7:30pm - 7-8cms but water still intact.
I asked the Dr. to break my water so I could "GET IT FREAKIN OVER WITH!!!" were my exact words! so he broke my water at 8:22pm and left the room. One push at 8:25pm and there she was laying on the bed between my legs. Troy was the only one watching--No Dr in the room and Nurse was doing paperwork!!
She's healthy, came out screaming! Apgar scores were 9 and 10 and she weighs 3lbs, 6ounces.
No drugs--no more being pregnant, I love her so much!

Yeah but only for lack of anywhere else to put her. Hosp. policy is that they can't release babies younger than 35 weeks gest.

It's weird. You gave birth at 32-weeks. That's only 2 weeks away for me!!! So she could control her own body temperature and breathe and feed fine already? Wow! How fantastic!!!!!

wow thats great that she came out so healthy even though she was so early....i'm 29 1/2 weeks and i sure hope i don't have him in the next 3 weeks...i'm sooo not ready yet. thats totally awesome that you just pushed her out on the bed with no one paying attention....i'm sure this will be a story that even your daughters grandkids will hear about!
