Just wondering when everyone lost thier mucus plug. I'm at 32 weeks and I think I lost mine but I think it is too early.

Hey as soon as I lost my mucus plug well I don't know if it was even a min. later I was saying my water broak! I remember I was in the hopspital and I told the nurse to come in and check she said oha don't worry it is your mucus plug she walked out and before she got too far (right after she said I still had a few min they might have to break my water) I was calmly saying "my water broke". My mom and hubby said I was so calm it was funny, they said I slowly and barly picked my head up and poked my finger up and said so sofly my water broke! She came in there talking about you need to be calm you have time and balah blah and well my mom said go look at her please she is right, she kept saying no no and she looked and I was in a huge puddle! So you need you either figure out what really happened or check it out with your Dr!

is the mucous plug the same as your water breaking? my mom has 6 kids and she says it isnt. i am 37 weeks pregnant and havent lost mine. do all women lose it? i go to the dr today and i am going to have my dr check me because im having little contractions.

No it is not your water breaking it is the thing infront of the water sack tho it goes then your water.

It's like the cork in the champaigne bottle, once it comes out the rest is free to come out too!
