Name: nicole76108 [ Original Post ] I think Ive lost my mucus plug now. Its been 3 1/2 years since my son so I've kinda forgotten what it looks like. Maybe if I explain it you guys can help me know if it was the mucus plug or if is just something brought on by the stress of yesterday. (Read Tragedy if you dont know) I hate talking about it, it just gets me more upset. It was like a whitish/yellow luggy (pardon me for any miss-spelled words.) it was slimmy. It didnt have blood or anything like that in it. If you have any questions feel free to ask Im not really embarrassed to describe much on here since I dont know you guys :) Makes it alittle easier to get into detail. :) Now if you were family that might be alittle different :) Thanks for the help guys!! ↓

How far along are you? When you start dilating even if just 1/2 cm-1cm it can come out. I don't think you should be worried. If you are call your doctor. I started loosing mucus 2 months before my due date. I'm now past due and still haven't had bloody show, but also never have with my first. Anyway I don't think it's something to worry about, but call your doc. Good luck. And your tradgedy could have been worse. Thank GOD it wasn't. ↑

mine came out in bits and pieces in my last trimester. it looked like snot (sorry if tmi). slimey and clear/white looking. it would be in my panti-liner when i would go to the bathroom. i was dilated 1cm throughout my pregnancy anyway b/c my doc. said it was my 2nd child so you dilate 1cm early on b/c your body has carried a baby before. she said nothing to worry about though. i carried all the way to my induction date. no complications. ↑

No signs of anything now though, I did read on the internet (so source in kinda ify) but it says that the plug can replenish itself if it is lost to early so hopefully mine will do that. If been having alot of BH though. Sucks cause I didnt feel these with Ryan my 3 year old. ↑

YUP, ME TOO! I HAD BH LIKE CRAZY SINCE I WAS IN 2ND TRIMESTER WITH CHLOE. BUT DIDN'T HAVE ANY WITH MY 5 YR. OLD. I GUESS WITH THE 2ND PREGNANCY, YOU HAVE MORE SIGNS EARLY ON B/C YOUR BODY "REMEMBERS" HOW TO BE PREGNANT. I ALSO SHOWED VERY EARLY ON WITH CHLOE, MY 2ND. ↑

they say you notice more signs too in your second pregnancy since you know whats going on ↑
