My son is 10 months and yesterday we took him to the hospital because his penis was swollen. Around 9pm he was complaining nonstop so around 10 I decided time to sleep so when I take the pamper off his penis looked larger than usual, I am here thinking maybe it grew. Then he reached down like he usually does cringed and started crying. I went and touched it and he screamed worse. I ask my mom what could be wrong since she has 3 sons that are uncircumcised and she doesn't know since he didn't have any urinating problems. Hubby and I go to the hospital and after 2 hours of hell waiting they take us in and the Dr; touched it and he said he had an allergic reaction. I ask to what because I change hs pamper all the tme and I haven't done anything new. He gave some bs which didn't leave me satisfied and said to give him benadryl for the swelling. All that wait and all he said was that. Today it looked a little better, but when he peed he started crying. I called his pediatrician on his cell and he said to put cortizone and come in tomorrow because he was closed today. I just feel bad for him because I have no idea what's wrong. I know some of you must have boys and I just want to know if you have any opinions on what it couold be. ↓

| Could be allergic to Pampers if you are using the baby dry or the cruisers. My so developed a reaction to them about a month ago and he had been on them for about 5 months. I switched to another brand and everything cleared right up. ↑ |

| My mom had mentioned that I didn't think anything of it because he has been on the cruisers for so long. Since my bro is just 3 weeks younger than my son my mom always used baby dry and there was none so she had bought cruisers and my brother had the worse rash ever and she gave those to me and went back to baby dry and he is now fine. When he wakes up I am going to put a baby dry to see if it gets a bit better. ↑ |

| Baby dry and cruisers are the same. Notice they have a baby powder scent? If your son is having a reation to the diaper that is probably what is doing it. I switched to Huggies for during the day and Kid Pantz for at night. ↑ |

| I took him to his doc and he said he has an infection. I'm like the stupid Dr. at the hospital said it wasn't. He prescribed him two creams and if it stays the same or gets worse he will have to get circumcised. It wasn't the pamper. ↑ |

| Hey guys i have an 8 and half month old whom i am glad too that we had circumcised but his keeps trying to grow back i have to keep pulling the skin back so that it don't grow back. it is like the skin around the bottom of the head of his penis is trying to reatach itself anybody else have this problem and will it stop tring to grow back. ↑ |

| There is no way the doctor could tell if your son had a urinary tract infection without having a urine sample to check. I think it sounds like your little guy has a yeast infection its quite common in uncircumcised boys. I think its canasten sorry not sure on the spelling but that will clear it up. I hope his better soon. ↑ |
