Hello everyone.

I am new to this thing but I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I am 23 weeks pregnant and I started feeling the baby at around 19-20 weeks. Kicks are still light but I feel them throughout the day. But the baby has not changes positions, I have only ever felt movements in the bottom left hand side of my uterus. The head is on the right side with the bum on the left side and the legs underneath (where I feel all the movement) I saw the baby in the ultrasound in that position then when the doctor was feeling my tummy the following week it was still in that position. So it must not have changed positions since I started feeling it a couple weeks ago because as I mentioned I only feel movements in the lower left hand side of my uterus.

I was wondering if this is ok and normal?

yes its ok, your baby is probably doing flips you prob just cant feel it. right now your uterus is still small, and it grows as the baby grows and thats why you are only feeling him or her in that one spot. your healthy and your baby is happy.

My daughter was transverse, or sideways, until I was 26 weeks, and then she was breech. Until about 28 weeks I never felt a kick above my belly button. From 26 weeks until 35 weeks (which is when my water broke) she was breech. I had a c-section.

However until you are 28 weeks the amount of movement is not important because your baby is still so small. If you are truely concerned you need to speak with your obgyn. However, it sounds normal.
