I found it hard since it was during the summer and had to lie all the time about why I couldn't drink.
at least you can say-your new years resolutions is to go on a cleanse for 2 months-or something like that. New Years you can just fake sick.

I need to get back into water myself, I used to drink it all the time but I have been slacking for the past 6 months, I tried to stick with the 8 cups a day, but man there is so much water you can drink!!! my eyeballs were floating at times..

I just stayed away from caffiene because in the book "what to expect when your expecting" it says something about caffiene maybe causing miscarriages. i think maybe i read it wrong...so i cut it out all together. even though now my doc tells me some caffiene is okay. I dont want to risk anything....have you ever heard what i just said logan?]

Excites, I have the same book, It just brings out that ; no concrete studies have been found yet on caffeine but is best to avoid whenever possible, it does mention limited amounts of caffeine per day.

my mom said when she was pregnant with me, the dr told her NO CAFFEINE because it could cause Mc's but now they say a little is fine, just not to go over like 3-4 cans a day....so i buy the big 24 oz bottles and drink little shots of it all day, so i feel lke i'm getting as much as i used too

I can always buy caffeine free sodas, I can get it here almost anywhere... Keep at least 1 cup of coffee and the rest of my drinks without caffeine.

Cool Connie how far long are you?

Name: Angelcecilia2 | Date: Dec 29th, 2006 1:48 AM
Congratulations Logan! I understand the worry -- I too had a m/c with my first, and then worried all the way through the beginning of this one...but now I'm 24 1/2 wks! Time will fly!

Side note on the caffeine---some is fine, personally I've been trying to stick to no more than one caffeinated drink a day...some days not even the one. I've never been a coffee drinker, though, so it was all pop. I started on caffeine free, and most of it isn't horrible -- can get used to it. Some brands of root beer are caffeine free -- I know for sure A&W is, but others do have it, so you might want to double check the ingredient list before you buy root beer thinking it's caffiene free :)

I actually like caffeine free Pepsi, not bad at all.....
I am so used to also artificial sweetener like Splenda and now I have to stop using that too.
