Ok so as you all know I have not been showing at all really. I had a small pouch unter my belly button, but that is it. Well for the past 2 days my stomach has been feeling sort of tight (hard to explain). Well I woke up this morning and it looks like I ate a basketball while I was sleeping. I have a round tummy even at the top. My husband said that it is much different, but not that big. Well it looks huge to me. I can't even suck it in LOL So I guess my days of people going "wow you how far your not even showing a little" are over :(

I was just amazed. I mean I am sure that others think that I am still small, but I can even feel it now when I sit down. To me though I don't look pregnant jsut fat :(

You will also go though the feeling fat stage. Now that I am 5 months I look pregnant not just chubby. I sure you look great it's hard to gain weight.

See the thing is I am already a big girl 170ish but I have always had larger bottom and thighs, but a very flat stomach. I still weight the same amount at 19 weeks today, but now it just looks like I have belly chub to go with by big ass LOL. I am going to embrase it and hope it grows some more that way I will look round and pregnant not just fat.

That's exciting that you are finally starting to show! I remember going through the 'fat' phase when I looked more like I had one too many candy bars than I did pregnant. That was no fun. I'm sure you look very good though.

Thank you guys. I am sure that it is not as bad as I think. You know we are always more critical on our bodies then abyone else is.

I know what you mean Jill...I went from hardly nothing at 29 weeks to a real bump at 32...it's exciting for me though b/c people can actually tell I'm pg now...I mean they still think like 5 or 6mths. but at least they know. I always had bigger hips that upper body too. It's probably taken so long for both of us b/c of our strong ab muslces. You should take some pics of your little bump:)

I'm soo in the fat phase. I'm 16 weeks. I haven't gained any weight but my belly has definitely pouched out but it just looks like I am a chub and not preggers. I can still wear all of my clothes. Although I put my jeans on this morning and damn...this might be the last weekend for them :(

I'm definitely in the fat phase too. I've been down to a couple pairs of pants for about a week, maybe a little more...but I've tried on maternity and I definitely am not big enough for that yet! The pants look horrible on me. Someone recommended Old Navy to me though...said they have really cute maternity stuff that fits all the way through. I plan on going shopping there like tomorrow. Hopefully I can find something! I can't wait until my bump is actually a pregnant belly!

Angelcecilla - I think from another post you and I are due about the same time (I'm due 4-13-07). I have some hand-me-down maternity clothes that are much too big right now except for a couple things from Target and Old Navy so hopefully Old Navy works out for you. I think it's time for me to start wearing what my niece calls "fat clothes" :) Good luck shopping.

Old Navy has great maternity pants, I have 2 pairs of jeans, just with the elastic on the back which I will wear when I not pregnant. They are really nice and cheap. And the cords only have a little band on them.Way better than other stores. They look like regular pants. But they do stretch, so I only can wear small for now because they stretch allot at the end of the day.
