I think the fact that her hCG level is going up is good news, and the doctors are obviously being sure to monitor her progress. If she had a period in January, she would have got pregnancy in February, and so she's in the very early stages of her pregnancy, so I'm not surprised the doctor couldn't see much in the ultrasound. I was 6-weeks-pregnant before I even suspected my period wasn't coming. :) Just offer her all the support and love you can, and be strong for her. I hope it's good news tomorrow. Keep us posted. ↑ |
The best thing you can do for her is be there for her, whatever the outcome.
A miscarriage is heartbreaking, no matter how far along you are (especially a planned pregnancy), speaking from personal experience, it is one of the hardest and saddest moments in my life. My husband was there for me during the pregnancy and during the miscarriage. I don't know what I would have done without his caring and understanding and strength.
As long as there are hcG levels, it means she is still pregnant, and you need to hold onto that!
Keep positive! Like briseis said, the hcG levels increasing is a great sign! You kind of have to let nature take it's course. If it is meant to be, it will be! Have faith.
Please keep us posted. I will be thinking of you both. ↑ |
i'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. i too had a miscarriage in aug. 06. i was able to concieve again thank God. My point is, this might not be the end for you. Many couples conceive again shorlty after a miscarriage. please let us know the outcome. i'm sorry about what you're going through. just listen to her and be VERY supportive, even if she's angry. ↑ |
