Hey, just wondering how you're doing. Not on here much but you've been on my mind. How's Daisy? Is she still cozy in her home??

Yep,still in there but alot of contractions today.... sigh. I'm doing ok,getting kinda depressed hanging out in the hospital, been here 22 days and on bedrest for 7 weeks and Im ready to get up and do something. But I won't.=( They are talking about giving me a shot in addition to all my meds to try to stop the contractions so I guess we'll see. HOw are you doing?

Im 27 weeks now.Nope Im here by myself 2 hours from my family, that really sucks but they come visit when they can.Her daddys is not involved other than threatening to kill and rape me constantly.so that doesnt help my stress level at all! Hoe far are you now?I always loved going for my appointments too.now we get ultrasounds every 2 weeks for growth scans so that is what I look forward to! =)

oh yay! one more week and you hit where they want you to be right? Ultrasounds are the best! I just had my third two weeks ago and found out it's a boy. It's so awesome to see how he's growing!
Yeah, I remember you saying what an ass the dad is. What a loser.
What city are you in? I know you said they have an awesome NICU.

I'm near Pittsburgh, Pa. Great hospitals there, but i'm 45 min away from them. I'm 2 min away from where I deliver!
We're thinking of Austin James. My son's name is Owen, and both my husband and i are vowel names as well (Eric & Amie), so we kinda feel like we should keep the vowel theme going! It's been soooo hard to come up with another boys name though! It would have been Allie Susan if it were a girl. Thankfully, I wasn't partial either way! Two boys will be great! My sister just had a girl, so I get my girl fill!

My son is 3. He's amazing, and sooo difficult at the same time! It's great that your parents are taking care of your foster daughter! I know you said you foster kids with special needs, does she have any? It must be hard having to be away from her! How long have you had her?

I had her for 13 months and then off and on and then she went to live with my parents because she needed more care than a single mom could give her.She is severely physically disabled and goes to Childrens hospital every two weeks for treatment along with physical therapy every week.I really hated to let them take ove her care but had to for the time because all the issues with my ex,her being in and out of the hospital,my job ( I was getting up for work at 2:45 am)she was on oxygen and a feeding tube for quites some time, but has been thriving with all the attention she gets there.I brought her home when she was 8 days old.She is the light of my life.

Wow... it would be hard to take on such a responsibility in your situation. You seem like the type of person that has so much love in her heart to give! We need more people on this earth like you!
I'm a teacher so I have had experiences with the severely disabled, but never had to care for any. I give parents credit for the patience and love they give this special, wonderful individuals!

Disabled children have been my life and occupation for the past 5 1/2 years and I have worked in the school in special ed so none of it is new to me.I just love to see how even under such a crippled body there is a real kid who wants to be loved and accepted like anyone else. These kids are really cool.
