Lynn WOW it sounds like they are gonna drive you crazy, maybe you should try another doctor, cause these people don't seem like they know much about what they are doing here. let me know how your dr. appt goes.

Five weeks is way too early -- as a matter of fact most Dr.'s don't even want to see you (other than to confirm your pregnancy via BLOOD work) until you are 12 weeks. My sister in law almost aborted her baby unknowingly because some doctor kept telling her, her pregnancy wasn't viable (because he couldn't see the heart beat) when it was (thank God the baby is fine). Get a second, even third opinion and maybe even a new Dr. all together. Good luck

lynn.. as long as your blood work came out positive don't freak out.. doctors cant even see a baby in a sono until your at least 8 wks along... give it another 3-4 weeks then go back to the doc for your first "official" ultrasound to see the baby.... where abouts do you live?

hey lynn ...take some time for yourself and relax for the next 3 or 4 weeks... call the doc's office next week and schedule a 9 or 10 week visit... this time try to go to a different OB doc.. from the sounds of it the last one was just giving your a run around and they shouldve known better that its hard to see a fetus at 5 weeks...
