So I went for a kip this afternoon and when I woke up there was blood all over the top of my underwear. My scar had a bleed while I was asleep.

Is that normal?! It's been like 19 days I think.

It's weird because it never bled before, even after the op'.

I thought when they said it takes 6-8 weeks to heal...they were talking mostly internal healing...

But...good...my mind's at ease now :)

Mine never bled at all. Mine was a scar (no scab or anything) in under 2 weeks. Call your doctor if you are worried... I don't think bleeding is supposed to happen that late.

no no - get that checked - my scar on the surface was healed withing 2 weeks - your stitches should have desolved by now - and remember to take it easy do not over do it - that can put stresses on the scarf

mine never bled at all. I know it takes a long time for it to heal all the way, but I don;t think that they should bleed. Do you still have staples or something] All of my stuff was on the inside so I didnt have any external staples like some people did. I know when you have staples you can snag them on your clothes and that can cause some bleeding. I would still call the dr to be sure there is no infection luking in there
