| O Ok,that makes sense.I was just curious how many people use WIC.I used it with my foster daughter,she was on a special formula that cost about $300 a month.If for some reason I cant breastfeed Daisy I was considering using it again.Has anyone else had problems with WIC?They screwed up Summers a few times but once she was off formula we dropped them. ↑ |

umm all my wic formula is on Ebay for sale, since i breast fed tyler, all the money is going into a savings account for him,
i believe wic uses all different formulas depending on the location, my office gives us Good Start Supreme, and thats 10 cants a month which is $119 worth from my grocery store ↑ |

| At my Wic office, they just asked me what kind she had been using at the hospital and thats what they gave me. They also asked me if I wanted powdered, concentrated, or ready to feed formula. I was like DAMN I didnt know they gave you the expensive stuff too! Jasmine gets Similac Advance. I get 9 cans a month which adds up to somewhere around $115. But it usually isnt enough for the entire month so I pay an extra abut $20-25 for formula. ↑ |

| If you keep running out ask her doc to write a prescription for x amout of cans and usually they will.We are still using some of Summers up she still gets 2 bottles a day,but we havent been getting WIC for a long time but had LOTS left. ↑ |

| a prescription? I have Medicaid for Jasmine... does that cover formula too? I didnt know that! I think i'll be asking her doc about it next time I go! ↑ |

Summer has Medicaid also,they will cover formula in alot of cases if WIC doesnt.You can also get a prescription for special formula if she has allergies.
Lauren,I would be careful because if WIC finds out youre selling it you can get in trouble and have to pay them for the formula.Here if you dont use it all youre supposed to take it back ti WIC. ↑ |
