Name: Waiting Not-so patiently

My period isn't due for another week. I'm usually pretty regular, give or take a day. My husband and I went without a condom for the first time on Sunday. I checked my calendar, and that was the day of the height of my fertility! To make sure, we did it again the next night. My period is still a week away, but I'm really curious as to whether or not there's a good chance I'm pregnant after our first try. I don't feel any different, of course, but I would really like to be pregnant! Do I have to wait an entire week to find out?! The only symptom is the occasional heart flutter and higher bp and excessive sleepiness...but it's only been 3 days. ↓

I didnt have any symtoms until I was like a month. Everyone is different though. There could be a chance u are pregnant. But I would wait until you miss ur period before you get ur hopes up. I always waited until my period was a week late before I wasted my money on a test. ↑

Well if you are regular you should know when you period doenst come then go get a test and bam maybe you will be having a baby lol ↑

It's really hit and miss with this kinda thing. About a week and a half before my period was expected I noticed my breasts were much more tender and sore...that's the only thing that I could have picked up on. I had a feeling I was pregnant...but I waited until I was a couple days late to test and then found out that I was indeed pregnant.

It's funny because my fiancee and I tried for 3 months to get pregnant and every month on the day I expected my period (it was sometimes off by a day or two) I would take the test and every month only that one line would come up. On the 4th month we decided that maybe this wasn't the time for us and that I would go back on the pill the following month...so I had pretty much given up. Once I realized I was a couple days late and got the guts to take the test...I just sat there knowing that two lines were going to come up. I was in shock (happy shock) but I was pretty much expecting it.

I dunno...when I think back I can just remember what a trance I was in staring at the stick going...OMG, I'm really going to have a baby! ↑

A blood test can pedict pregnancy after about four days and might be able to tell you right now. A urin test is stil going to take at least two weeks. They might have some that can tell in a week but you might get a false negative. Don't stress and be careful what you give your body until you are sure. I've found the more you watch the water boil the longer it take to boil. The same is true with pregnancy the harder you try it seems the longer it takes. Relax it will happen ↑
