For the past 2 weeks Christian has started to call me Yanick! I mean WHOA! Why?! He'll literally come up to me tap my leg and go "Yanick, Yanick, Yanick" Before he'll tap my leg and go" Mom, Mom, Mom" Right now I'm correcting him by saying its Mom not Yanick. He'll say Mom for a while and go back to saying Yanick again.
Did this happen to anyone else? I'm in shock, I didn't see this coming at all.
The first time he called me Yanick I had to do a double take...like "What did you just call me?!"
UGH...I'm MOM....NOT YANICK! ↓

Yes Danese? What can Mom do for you today? LMAO!!!!! ↑ |
Ok, looking back on my previous post that wass kinda creepy.....so yeahhhhhhhhhhhh ↑ |
you should call me again....i'm cleaning the bathroom and i'm all caffiened up ↑ |
yeah my kids have always done it. the girls think it's SO funny to call me meg or megan....emma's teacher said it's actually a good thing because if in an emergency someone asks them my name they are more likely to remember my real name not just mommy.
but any way, i've found that the bigger deal i make out of it the funnier they think it is and the more they do it.
if i just act like i don't notice they stop and move onto something else to bug me lol ↑ |
Haha! Awww Poor you Yanick. That's not good! He must just hear other people call you Yanick and think that's ok too. My 2-year-old nephew calls his parents and grandparents by their first names sometimes, and to him, I'm Gill, not auntie etc. It'll be back to Mom again soon! ↑ |
