ive had 3 out of 4 removed one had enough room to come through but most people dont have any room and their teeth crowd and wisdom teeth push the others forward causing extreme pain. go to the dentist.

Yep...hurts like a bitch. Mine tried to come through, but not enough room. I put up with it for about 6 months and finally had to have them cut out. Much better now!

I have three wisdom teeth. None were removed.

They were painful when they were coming through. Nothing agonisin' though.

When I went in for a fillin' though he just removed the tooth that needed the filling [molar] to make way for the wisdom tooth to come forward

The two (top and bottom) on my right side have came in---it took over a year for them both to finally make it all the way out---it HURT. They would hurt for a several days, stop, and then start up again a month or so later. It did shift my other teeth and caused my gums to bleed sometimes--it sucks. I had the "no money" problem too. I know the top one got infected at one point, it swelled up and was sore--I took some antibiotics and it went away (won't tell you how I got the meds. :) )I now have dental insurance through my hubby---but have yet to go, I know they will want to take them out or the ones on the other side of my mouth, and I am a big chicken....... :(

I had all 4 of mine pulled about 5 years ago. They put me out for it and I had stitches, but nothing was painful.

I have one top one in all the way and another top one coming in right NOW!! It's sore because I messed with it to much trying to keep it clean with my toothbrush. I'm to chicken to get them pulled too! My parents spent so much money on braces for me when I was younger and now my teeth are getting all screwd up again...LOL.
I put oragel on it every once in a while if it really bothers be but other than that I just put up with it.

he have wisdom teeth for back when we used to eat more game-y foods, like in our cave man days LOL same as i think our appendix and gal bladders, we dont need those any more,

and people are still evolving thats why some people are born with3 wisdom teeth and none as apposed to 4

i had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. mine were actually still below surface at the time and hadnt even started to poke through. i was only in 7th grade when they removed them. i had just gotten my braces off and they said if the wisdom teeth came in it would cause unalignment in my newly aligned teeth. it wasnt too bad...swollen cheeks, a little bruising. i reacted strangely to the anesthesia. i woke up crying, but that ended quickly.

My Wisdom tooth on my right side also started coming in after I gave birth to Emma, some days my gums are really sore and then I have days where I don't feel anything at all.
